SH-GOM-00010 (AC-857 (PERDIDO)): AWOS MAST/POLE LOCATED 20 FEET NORTHWEST OF PUSH-IN PARKING AREA
AWOS mast/pole was installed on 19 January 2019 and is located20 feet northwest of the Push-in Parking Area.
The top of the mast/pole is marked with yellow/black contrasting markings to increase the
obstruction's visibility from the air.
The AWOS mast/pole is well clear of the helideck landing area's 210 degree Obstacle Free
Sector and 150 degree Limited Obstacle Sector.
SH-GOM-00022 (WR-551 (TURRITELLA)): H2S IN CARGO TANKS (NO VENTING)
FPSO TURRITELLA cargo tanks routinely contain H2S with permissibleconcentrations of H2S (0 to 50 PPM) per the asset 2020 BSEE approved H2S Contingency
Plan Dispersion Model.
The H2S is contained in the cargo tanks until it can be offloaded. Requirements to vent are
based upon permissible cargo tank concentration levels. Venting of the H2S gas is also an
approved method per the 2020 BSEE approved H2S Contingency Plan.
Prior to flight, pilots shall contact the Houma Heliport Dispatcher (504-425-7909) to determine
the current H2S status at TURRITELLA.
At the 20-minute call, pilots shall confirm the H2S status with the TURRITELLA Radio Operator
and shall not proceed to the platform until positive confirmation that there is no H2S venting or
releases.
In the event of an H2S release when the aircraft is enroute, the helideck shall immediately be
closed and the aircraft shall be notified and return to base. Aircraft shall remain outside 5
miles; pilots shall not circle the platform nor fly downwind of the platform within 5 miles.
If the event of an H2S release during an approach for landing, the helicopter shall waive off
upwind of the platform and remain upwind. If the event of an H2S release while the helicopter
is on helideck, the pilot shall shutdown and aircrew shall shelter on the facility and shall not
attempt to depart.
Flight operations to or from a facility following an H2S release shall be made only with the
agreement of the OIM/Vessel Master, Air Operator, and Business Technical Authority-Air
Transport.
SH-GOM-00020 (WR-551 (TURRITELLA)): FLARE BOOM OBSTRUCTION LIGHTS INOP UFN
FPSO TURRITELLA - Flare boom obstruction lights are inoperative until further notice. Flare itself operating normally and should provide appropriate illumination of the structure in conjunction with vessel lighting.SH-GOM-00025 (AC-857 (PERDIDO)): AC-857-A (PERDIDO) EAST CRANE - HELICOPTER SIMOPS (WITH RESTRICTIONS)
East Crane-Helicopter SIMOPs are approved with the followingrestrictions / risk mitigations.
During the initial check-in radio communications, the Control Room shall notify the aircrew of
any planned crane-helicopter SIMOPS.
Prior to a GREEN DECK for landing radio call from the HLO to the pilots:
(1) The East Crane shall be stopped (static).
(2) The crane boom shall be statically positioned between the pipe rack and the rig floor. (See
green crosshatched area in the PERDIDO Helideck Information Plate drawing)
(3) The crane operator shall be outside the crane cab wearing a reflective vest in a position
visible to the pilots.
Aircraft On-Deck and Positioned on the Helideck TDPM (Aiming Circle):
(1) The HLO shall inform the pilots that East Crane SIMOPS are commencing.
(2) East Crane operations shall remain on the north side of the rig package between the pipe
rack and the rig floor.
Prior to a GREEN DECK for takeoff radio call from the HLO to the pilots:
(1) The East Crane shall be stopped (static).
(2) The crane boom shall be statically positioned between the pipe rack and the rig floor.
(3) The crane operator shall be outside the crane cab wearing a reflective vest in a position
visible to the helicopter pilots.
SH-GOM-00026 (DEEPWATER THALASSA ): CRANE AND HELICOPTER SIMOPS APPROVED WITH RESTRICTIONS
Crane-Helicopter SIMOPS have been approved with therestrictions identified below:
* Fwd Crane #1: Shutdown during helicopter SIMOPS.
* Fwd Crane #2: Limited to hoist movement only; no boom movement authorized during
helicopter SIMOPS is not authorized.
* Aft Cranes #3 and #4: No restriction during helicopter SIMOPS
* The drill ship will inform pilots of any crane operations during the 20-min and 5-min calls.
Pilots-in-Command maintain the right to refuse landing if conditions do not permit safe
operations.

SH-GOM-00018 (WR-551 (TURRITELLA)): SKID AIRCRAFT LIGHTED TD/PM CIRCLE LANDING POSITIONS TO AVOID SNAG HAZARDS
FPSO TURRITELLA (WR-551) is equipped with a lighted Touchdown/Positioning Marking(TD/PM) Circle and H Marking. These lighting systems present potential snag hazards for skid
configured helicopters.
In order to eliminate the risks associated with these snag hazards and to avoid potential
damage to the lighting systems that may be caused by skid configured aircraft, the following
procedures are in effect:
(1) Pilots shall make a normal approach to a hover with the pilot's seat oriented over the
TD/PM Circle.
(2) Once established in a hover, the pilots of skid aircraft may side-step the lighting fixtures
associated with the H and land with the skids inside the TD/PM Circle with the aircraft nose
close to the wind line.
(3) On departure, pilots of skid aircraft shall lift to a hover and then re-position so that the
pilot's seat is oriented over the TD/PM Circle.
(4) Once established in a hover with the pilot's seat oriented over the TD/PM Circle, a normal
take-off procedure may be commenced.

If overflight of the Falling Gradient infringements cannot be avoided and the headwind component is less than 30 kts, then aircraft Restricted Take-off and Landing Weight (RTOLW) limitations shall be applied in accordance with the Helideck Certification Agency (HCA) Helideck Limitations List (HLL) [Part B, Tables 1 & 2).

SH-GOM-00023 (WR-551 (TURRITELLA)): FPSO TURRITELLA OFFLOAD OPERATIONS ALERT
FPSO TURRITELLA will be conducting crude offloading operations on a recurring basis,during which time the shuttle tanker Overseas Tampa will be tethered to the FPSO with
hawser line and crude offload hose at a distance of approximately 500 feet to the stern of the
FPSO. FPSO and tanker will both be weather vaning into the wind. (Refer to photo link below)

Aircrew should ensure that have obtained current wind information, FPSO heading, and tanker
relative bearing information from FPSO prior to departure and confirm the same information at
20 minute call. HLO will again confirm offload operations and tanker location in conjunction
with green deck radio call.
As per HCA Helideck Limitations List (HLL) Part B, Tables 1 & 2:
For landing with headwind component less than 30 knots:
- S-92: Max weight limited to 25,300 lbs
NOTES:
1) HLL limitation for take-off with less than 30 knots headwind component not
applicable due to weathervaning of FPSO which will always preclude takeoff in direction
towards tanker at stern of FPSO.
2) Overflight of the infringement should be avoided where practicable.
SH-GOM-00032 (GB-172-B (SALSA)): 180 DEGREE FALLING GRADIENT INFRINGEMENTS
GB-172-B (SALSA): There are 180 degree falling gradient infringements due to the Quarters buildings and other platform obstructions located on both the north and south sides of the helideck.Pilots shall take these infringements into consideration when planning approaches and departures to the helideck.

SH-GOM-00046 (ALL DEEPWATER HELIDECKS (NOTAM Applies to Multiple Helidecks)): MULTI-SHIP OPERATIONS (HELICOPTER-HELICOPTER SIMOPS)
Multi-ship operations are authorized aboard Shell GoM helidecks equipped with Parking Areas upon receipt of final approval by the Business Unit Air Transport Technical Authority:Multi-ship operations shall be conducted in accordance with the following criteria:
1) Skid configured aircraft are authorized to hover taxi into the Parking Area. However, hover taxi into the Parking Area is not authorized aboard FPSO Turritella due to obstructions.
2) Aircraft in the Parking Area shall be positioned completely within the white outlined parking space, clear of the Parking Transition Area foul line, and securely tied-down to the helideck.
3) Combined weight of both aircraft shall not exceed the maximum allowable combined weight identified in the applicable helideck information plate.
4) The following information shall be sent to the Business Unit Air Transport Technical Authority for review and final approval:
- Photos of the aircraft securely tied-down and parked within the white outlined parking space and clear of the Parking Transition Area foul line. Include a foul line side-view photo.
- Weight of aircraft (with fuel) parked in the Parking Area.
- Confirmation that the combined weight of both aircraft does not / will not exceed the maximum allowable for the helideck.
5) Pilots shall be made aware of other aircraft in the Parking Area during initial check-in.
The pilot-in-command always maintains the right to refuse landing if an unsafe condition exists.
SH-GOM-00053 (SS-28-A ): SS-28 HELIDECK UPGRADED TO D-VALUE 56 AND 16,000 LBS.
The SS-28 Helideck has been upgraded to accept an aircraft up to the D-value of 56 and aweight of 16,500 lbs.
SH-GOM-00134 (AC-857 (PERDIDO)): 1 OF 4 HELIDECK STATUS LIGHTS INOP UFN
AC-857 (PERDIDO): 1 of 4 helideck status lights are inoperable until further notice.SH-GOM-00146 (SANCO SWORD ): HELIDECK HEIGHT OF 43 FEET - IMPACTS ON AIRCRAFT AVAILABLE PAYLOADS
SANCO SWORD: The vessel's low helideck height of 43 feet above sea level may significantlyimpact aircraft available payloads. Pilots shall be aware of the vessel's low helideck height when
completing performance planning calculations.
The SANCO SWORD is approved for the operation of helicopters up to the size of the S-92 in
support of Shell Air Transport operations.
SH-GOM-00147 (SANCO SWORD ): VESSEL OBSTACLE FREE SECTOR (OFS) INTRUSIONS
The Sanco Sword has a 21-meter D-Value “batwing-style” helideck in which the outer portions of the helideck are able to fold inwards and rest on support brackets. The bases of these support brackets are permanently affixed to the helideck adjacent to a landing light and stand approximately four inches tall (lower than the perimeter lights they are next to). Aircrew should be alerted to the infringements.Pilots always have the right to refuse landing if an unsafe situation exists.
SH-GOM-00178 (MC-807-B (OLYMPUS)): CRANE #2 - HELICOPTER SIMOPS (WITH RESTRICTIONS)
MC-807-B (OLYMPUS): Crane #2 - Helicopter SIMOPs are approved with the following restrictions and risk mitigations.During the 20-minute initial check-in radio communications, the OLYMPUS Control Room shall inform the aircrew on the operational status of all cranes and any planned Crane #2-Helicopter SIMOPS.
During the 5-minute inbound call, the OLYMPUS HLO shall inform the aircrew on the operational status of all cranes and any Crane #2-Helicopter SIMOPS.
Prior to a GREEN DECK for landing radio call from the HLO to the pilots:
(1) Crane #1 shall be stopped (static) and clear of the helideck Obstacle Free Sector (OFS) and Limited Obstacle Sector (LOS).
(2) Crane #2 boom shall remain north and west of Crane #3 (See green cross-hatched area in the OLYMPUS Helideck Information Plate).
(3) Crane #3 shall be stopped (static) and clear of the helideck Obstacle Free Sector (OFS) and Limited Obstacle Sector (LOS).
Pilots-in-Command maintain the right to refuse landing if conditions do not permit safe operations.

Pilots shall be aware of the vessel's low helideck height when completing performance planning calculations.The Wyatt Candies is approved for the operation of helicopters up to the size of the AW-139 in support of Shell Air Transport operations.
SH-GOM-00218 (Wyatt Candies ): TOUCHDOWN POSITION MARKING CIRCLE ERRONEOUS DIAMETER FOR D-VALUE
The WYATT CANDIES TD/PM measurement was confirmed at 7.74 meters, which is too small for a deck with a D-Value of 16.67. In lieu of this fact, the TD/PM measurement should read 8.35, making the TD/PM circle too small by 0.59 meters (1’ 11”).Pilots shall take this into consideration during flight planning and during landing, particularly if placing the tail rotor towards the chevron.
SH-GOM-00267 (AC-773 (WHALE)): HELIDECK STATUS LIGHTS INOP UFN
AC-773 (WHALE): The helideck status lights are inoperable until further notice (UFN).The helideck perimeter lights and floodlights are fully operational.
SH-GOM-00293 (GC-19 ): 180-DEGREE FALLING GRADIENT SECTOR INFRINGEMENT
GC-19 has a 180-degree falling gradient infringement on the south side of the helideck where the AWOS antennas are mounted. HCA HLL Part B Table 1 Applies.SH-GOM-00294 (HARVEY BLUE SEA ): HELIDECK MOTION MONITORING SYSTEM OUT-OF-SERVICE
Harvey BLUE SEA: The helideck motion monitoring system is out-of-service until further notice.Effective immediately, the following enhanced operational controls are in effect:
(1) The maximum vessel pitch and roll motion limits shall not exceed 2 degrees for routine helicopter operations.

- S-92: Max weight limited to 25,300 lbs.
- AW-139: none
- S-76C++: Max weight reduced by 300 lbs.
- H-145: Max weight reduced to 3,800 kg / 8,378 lbs.
These limitations may result in a significant reduction in the aircraft available payload (passengers, baggage, cargo).

The Stena EVOLUTION has a 30-foot, white pole antenna for the non-directional beacon on the border of the obstacle-free sector and the limited obstacle sector on the port side of the vessel. The pilot-in-command shall consider the possibility of helicopter loss of height due to an engine failure during approaches and departures to/from THALASSA when SIMOPS are being conducted.
The following procedures shall apply:
(1) The pilot-in-command shall obtain current wind information and confirm the relative bearing, range, and operational status of all vessels operating near the helideck prior to departure.
(2) The pilot-in-command shall obtain current wind information and confirm the relative bearing, range, and operational status of all vessels operating near the helideck at the 20-minute inbound call to THALASSA.
(3) Upon completion of the helicopter 20-minute inbound call, the pilot-in-command shall request the THALASSA Bridge to advise vessels operating near the helideck that the helicopter is 20-minutes inbound for landing at THALASSA.
(4) The pilot-in-command shall confirm the vessel positions with the HLO in conjunction with the GREEN DECK radio call.
(5) The pilot-in-command shall consider vessel positions when planning approach and departure paths.
VESSEL OVERFLIGHT IS PROHIBITED.
The pilot-in-command maintains the right to refuse landing if conditions do not permit safe operations.

SH-GOM-00010 (AC-857 (PERDIDO)): AWOS MAST/POLE LOCATED 20 FEET NORTHWEST OF PUSH-IN PARKING AREA
AWOS mast/pole was installed on 19 January 2019 and is located20 feet northwest of the Push-in Parking Area.
The top of the mast/pole is marked with yellow/black contrasting markings to increase the
obstruction's visibility from the air.
The AWOS mast/pole is well clear of the helideck landing area's 210 degree Obstacle Free
Sector and 150 degree Limited Obstacle Sector.
SH-GOM-00022 (WR-551 (TURRITELLA)): H2S IN CARGO TANKS (NO VENTING)
FPSO TURRITELLA cargo tanks routinely contain H2S with permissibleconcentrations of H2S (0 to 50 PPM) per the asset 2020 BSEE approved H2S Contingency
Plan Dispersion Model.
The H2S is contained in the cargo tanks until it can be offloaded. Requirements to vent are
based upon permissible cargo tank concentration levels. Venting of the H2S gas is also an
approved method per the 2020 BSEE approved H2S Contingency Plan.
Prior to flight, pilots shall contact the Houma Heliport Dispatcher (504-425-7909) to determine
the current H2S status at TURRITELLA.
At the 20-minute call, pilots shall confirm the H2S status with the TURRITELLA Radio Operator
and shall not proceed to the platform until positive confirmation that there is no H2S venting or
releases.
In the event of an H2S release when the aircraft is enroute, the helideck shall immediately be
closed and the aircraft shall be notified and return to base. Aircraft shall remain outside 5
miles; pilots shall not circle the platform nor fly downwind of the platform within 5 miles.
If the event of an H2S release during an approach for landing, the helicopter shall waive off
upwind of the platform and remain upwind. If the event of an H2S release while the helicopter
is on helideck, the pilot shall shutdown and aircrew shall shelter on the facility and shall not
attempt to depart.
Flight operations to or from a facility following an H2S release shall be made only with the
agreement of the OIM/Vessel Master, Air Operator, and Business Technical Authority-Air
Transport.
SH-GOM-00020 (WR-551 (TURRITELLA)): FLARE BOOM OBSTRUCTION LIGHTS INOP UFN
FPSO TURRITELLA - Flare boom obstruction lights are inoperative until further notice. Flare itself operating normally and should provide appropriate illumination of the structure in conjunction with vessel lighting.SH-GOM-00025 (AC-857 (PERDIDO)): AC-857-A (PERDIDO) EAST CRANE - HELICOPTER SIMOPS (WITH RESTRICTIONS)
East Crane-Helicopter SIMOPs are approved with the followingrestrictions / risk mitigations.
During the initial check-in radio communications, the Control Room shall notify the aircrew of
any planned crane-helicopter SIMOPS.
Prior to a GREEN DECK for landing radio call from the HLO to the pilots:
(1) The East Crane shall be stopped (static).
(2) The crane boom shall be statically positioned between the pipe rack and the rig floor. (See
green crosshatched area in the PERDIDO Helideck Information Plate drawing)
(3) The crane operator shall be outside the crane cab wearing a reflective vest in a position
visible to the pilots.
Aircraft On-Deck and Positioned on the Helideck TDPM (Aiming Circle):
(1) The HLO shall inform the pilots that East Crane SIMOPS are commencing.
(2) East Crane operations shall remain on the north side of the rig package between the pipe
rack and the rig floor.
Prior to a GREEN DECK for takeoff radio call from the HLO to the pilots:
(1) The East Crane shall be stopped (static).
(2) The crane boom shall be statically positioned between the pipe rack and the rig floor.

damage to the lighting systems that may be caused by skid configured aircraft, the following
procedures are in effect:
(1) Pilots shall make a normal approach to a hover with the pilot's seat oriented over the
TD/PM Circle.
(2) Once established in a hover, the pilots of skid aircraft may side-step the lighting fixtures
associated with the H and land with the skids inside the TD/PM Circle with the aircraft nose
close to the wind line.
(3) On departure, pilots of skid aircraft shall lift to a hover and then re-position so that the
pilot's seat is oriented over the TD/PM Circle.
(4) Once established in a hover with the pilot's seat oriented over the TD/PM Circle, a normal
take-off procedure may be commenced.

FPSO TURRITELLA will be conducting crude offloading operations on a recurring basis,during which time the shuttle tanker Overseas Tampa will be tethered to the FPSO with
hawser line and crude offload hose at a distance of approximately 500 feet to the stern of the
FPSO. FPSO and tanker will both be weather vaning into the wind. (Refer to photo link below)

SH-GOM-00046 (ALL DEEPWATER HELIDECKS (NOTAM Applies to Multiple Helidecks)): MULTI-SHIP OPERATIONS (HELICOPTER-HELICOPTER SIMOPS)
Multi-ship operations are authorized aboard Shell GoM helidecks equipped with Parking Areas upon receipt of final approval by the Business Unit Air Transport Technical Authority:Multi-ship operations shall be conducted in accordance with the following criteria:
1) Skid configured aircraft are authorized to hover taxi into the Parking Area. However, hover taxi into the Parking Area is not authorized aboard FPSO Turritella due to obstructions.
2) Aircraft in the Parking Area shall be positioned completely within the white outlined parking space, clear of the Parking Transition Area foul line, and securely tied-down to the helideck.
3) Combined weight of both aircraft shall not exceed the maximum allowable combined weight identified in the applicable helideck information plate.
4) The following information shall be sent to the Business Unit Air Transport Technical Authority for review and final approval:
- Photos of the aircraft securely tied-down and parked within the white outlined parking space and clear of the Parking Transition Area foul line. Include a foul line side-view photo.
- Weight of aircraft (with fuel) parked in the Parking Area.
- Confirmation that the combined weight of both aircraft does not / will not exceed the maximum allowable for the helideck.
5) Pilots shall be made aware of other aircraft in the Parking Area during initial check-in.
The pilot-in-command always maintains the right to refuse landing if an unsafe condition exists.
SH-GOM-00053 (SS-28-A ): SS-28 HELIDECK UPGRADED TO D-VALUE 56 AND 16,000 LBS.
The SS-28 Helideck has been upgraded to accept an aircraft up to the D-value of 56 and aweight of 16,500 lbs.

AC-857 (PERDIDO): 1 of 4 helideck status lights are inoperable until further notice.SH-GOM-00146 (SANCO SWORD ): HELIDECK HEIGHT OF 43 FEET - IMPACTS ON AIRCRAFT AVAILABLE PAYLOADS
SANCO SWORD: The vessel's low helideck height of 43 feet above sea level may significantlyimpact aircraft available payloads. Pilots shall be aware of the vessel's low helideck height when
completing performance planning calculations.
The SANCO SWORD is approved for the operation of helicopters up to the size of the S-92 in
support of Shell Air Transport operations.
SH-GOM-00147 (SANCO SWORD ): VESSEL OBSTACLE FREE SECTOR (OFS) INTRUSIONS
The Sanco Sword has a 21-meter D-Value “batwing-style” helideck in which the outer portions of the helideck are able to fold inwards and rest on support brackets. The bases of these support brackets are permanently affixed to the helideck adjacent to a landing light and stand approximately four inches tall (lower than the perimeter lights they are next to). Aircrew should be alerted to the infringements.Pilots always have the right to refuse landing if an unsafe situation exists.
SH-GOM-00178 (MC-807-B (OLYMPUS)): CRANE #2 - HELICOPTER SIMOPS (WITH RESTRICTIONS)
MC-807-B (OLYMPUS): Crane #2 - Helicopter SIMOPs are approved with the following restrictions and risk mitigations.During the 20-minute initial check-in radio communications, the OLYMPUS Control Room shall inform the aircrew on the operational status of all cranes and any planned Crane #2-Helicopter SIMOPS.
During the 5-minute inbound call, the OLYMPUS HLO shall inform the aircrew on the operational status of all cranes and any Crane #2-Helicopter SIMOPS.
Prior to a GREEN DECK for landing radio call from the HLO to the pilots:
(1) Crane #1 shall be stopped (static) and clear of the helideck Obstacle Free Sector (OFS) and Limited Obstacle Sector (LOS).
(2) Crane #2 boom shall remain north and west of Crane #3 (See green cross-hatched area in the OLYMPUS Helideck Information Plate).
(3) Crane #3 shall be stopped (static) and clear of the helideck Obstacle Free Sector (OFS) and Limited Obstacle Sector (LOS).
Pilots-in-Command maintain the right to refuse landing if conditions do not permit safe operations.

The Wyatt Candies has a light on the bow of the vessel that extends beyond the 2.0m limit and is therefore an infringement on the 180-degree falling gradient sector.If overflight of the Falling Gradient infringements cannot be avoided and the headwind component is less than 30 kts, then aircraft Restricted take-off and Landing Weight (RTOLW) limitations shall be applied in accordance with the Helideck Certification Agency (HCA) Helideck Limitations List (HLL)[Part B, Tables 1).
- AW-139: none
- S-76C++: Max weight reduced by 300 lbs.
- H-145: Max weight reduced to 3,800 kg / 8,378 lbs.
These limitations may result in a significant reduction in the aircraft available payload (passengers,
baggage, cargo).
SH-GOM-00215 (Wyatt Candies ): HELIDECK HEIGHT OF 60 FEET - IMPACTS ON AIRCRAFT AVAILABLE PAYLOADS
Wyatt Candies: The vessel's low helideck height of 60 feet above sea level may significantly impact aircraft available payloads. Pilots shall be aware of the vessel's low helideck height when completing performance planning calculations.The Wyatt Candies is approved for the operation of helicopters up to the size of the AW-139 in support of Shell Air Transport operations.
SH-GOM-00218 (Wyatt Candies ): TOUCHDOWN POSITION MARKING CIRCLE ERRONEOUS DIAMETER FOR D-VALUE
The WYATT CANDIES TD/PM measurement was confirmed at 7.74 meters, which is too small for a deck with a D-Value of 16.67. In lieu of this fact, the TD/PM measurement should read 8.35, making the TD/PM circle too small by 0.59 meters (1’ 11”).Pilots shall take this into consideration during flight planning and during landing, particularly if placing the tail rotor towards the chevron.
SH-GOM-00267 (AC-773 (WHALE)): HELIDECK STATUS LIGHTS INOP UFN
AC-773 (WHALE): The helideck status lights are inoperable until further notice (UFN).The helideck perimeter lights and floodlights are fully operational.
SH-GOM-00293 (GC-19 ): 180-DEGREE FALLING GRADIENT SECTOR INFRINGEMENT
GC-19 has a 180-degree falling gradient infringement on the south side of the helideck where the AWOS antennas are mounted. HCA HLL Part B Table 1 Applies.SH-GOM-00294 (HARVEY BLUE SEA ): HELIDECK MOTION MONITORING SYSTEM OUT-OF-SERVICE
Harvey BLUE SEA: The helideck motion monitoring system is out-of-service until further notice.Effective immediately, the following enhanced operational controls are in effect:
(1) The maximum vessel pitch and roll motion limits shall not exceed 2 degrees for routine helicopter operations.
(2) Pilots-in-command shall confirm with the BLUE SEA Bridge prior to departure that the vessel pitch and roll motion is within limits.

The Stena EVOLUTION has a 30-foot, white pole antenna for the non-directional beacon on the border of the obstacle-free sector and the limited obstacle sector on the port side of the vessel. Pilots should exercise extreme caution when approaching from the port side.SH-GOM-00324 (Stena EVOLUTION ): CRANE AND HELICOPTER SIMOPS APPROVED WITH RESTRICTIONS
Crane-Helicopter SIMOPS have been approved with the restrictions below:- Bridge/ HLO shall relay the status of cranes during 20-min and 5-min calls.
- Fwd. Crane #1 – SIMOPS NOT AUTHORIZED. Crane shall be Shut Down and in the cradle during helicopter operations.
- Fwd. Crane #2 – RESTRICTED to movement within the interior of the vessel, specifically aft of the antenna mast and forward of the drilling derrick (see diagram).
- Aft Cranes #3 and #4 – No restrictions during helicopter SIMOPS.
Pilots-in-Command maintain the right to refuse landing if conditions do not permit safe operations.

AC-857 (Perdido) Work is currently in progress to replace the stairs on the south side access to the helideck. This will not affect flight Ops, but flight crews should know that egress from the helideck is limited to one access point during the conduct of that work.SH-GOM-00464 (MC-807-A (MARS)): HELIDECK LIGHTING OUT OF SERVICE
MARS HELIDECK LIGHTING WILL BE OUT OF SERVICE FROM 0900-1600 CST 27 FEB 2025 DUE TO ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE.SH-GOM-00469 (DEEPWATER THALASSA ): VESSEL-HELICOPTER SIMOPS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Deepwater THALASSA: Effective 4 March 2025, THALASSA will be conducting simultaneous vessel and helicopter operations until further notice (UFN).Multiple vessels will be operating in close proximity to the helideck's Falling Gradient Sector.
The pilot-in-command shall consider the possibility of helicopter loss of height due to an engine failure during approaches and departures to/from THALASSA when SIMOPS are being conducted.
The following procedures shall apply:
(1) The pilot-in-command shall obtain current wind information and confirm the relative bearing, range, and operational status of all vessels operating near the helideck prior to departure.
(2) The pilot-in-command shall obtain current wind information and confirm the relative bearing, range, and operational status of all vessels operating near the helideck at the 20-minute inbound call to THALASSA.
(3) Upon completion of the helicopter 20-minute inbound call, the pilot-in-command shall request the THALASSA Bridge to advise vessels operating near the helideck that the helicopter is 20-minutes inbound for landing at THALASSA.
(4) The pilot-in-command shall confirm the vessel positions with the HLO in conjunction with the GREEN DECK radio call.
(5) The pilot-in-command shall consider vessel positions when planning approach and departure paths.
VESSEL OVERFLIGHT IS PROHIBITED.
The pilot-in-command maintains the right to refuse landing if conditions do not permit safe operations.
